The C1 Pressure Sensor is an inductive sensor (LVDT) that measures precisely the pressure and allows the control of the water level inside the washing machine or dishwasher. The "in circuit" calibration gives a customized output characteristic. No software is needed in the main circuit.
It can perform as precises as 3mm water level of water, with frequency signal output can perform as precises as 3mm water level of water, with frequency signal output

Working Principal:

This sensor structured with a silicon diaphragm which separate the sensor housing into two chamber, one is positive room, and another is negative room. The differential pressure of air will push the sealing part moving
So the core inside of the coil moving accordingly, that will change the Inductance of the coil, as a consequence the Oscillating circuit frequency will change as well. This is the principal of this sensor.
with LC oscillator circuit measuring elements have compensated, adjusted and amplified sensor signals which are available as standard pulse outputs.
This Means The C1 Model pressure sensor isn't a traditional voltage or current output sensor. The output of this sensor is Square wave signal, which according to you input voltage of 5V DC.

As water fills into the water tank, air pressure in the air-trap and therefore the switch, increases and the diaphragm distends outwards actuating against a switch which ultimately controls the water inlet valves or pump.
when the water level falls below a preset level (the differential) a switch may close to advance the washing machine timer or enable the machine to spin.
